Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Parts & Retail Manager on behalf of our client based in Framlingham, Suffolk.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to take responsibility for the efficient running of a busy Parts Department within a well-established business. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers, internal departments and trade partners whilst managing the existing parts team and departmental operations.

Job Description

Reporting to the Branch & Sales Manager, the Parts & Retail Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and efficient operation of the Parts Department, showroom and goods inward area, ensuring excellent customer service and departmental profitability.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Managing the daily operations of the Parts Department, showroom and goods inward area
  • Leading and supporting the existing parts team
  • Maintaining effective communication between customers and the Parts Department
  • Supporting Sales and Service Departments internally
  • Managing relationships with key accounts, customers and trade partners
  • Monitoring departmental profitability and operational performance
  • Ensuring stock and goods inward processes are managed efficiently
  • Working towards departmental targets and objectives
  • Handling confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
  • Supporting customers with parts enquiries and product knowledge
  • Maintaining high standards of organisation and attention to detail
  • Assisting during busy seasonal periods including harvest times

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge of Agricultural and Groundcare products and parts is advantageous
  • Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Proactive and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Hours

42.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:30pm
(1-hour unpaid lunch)

Additional hours may be required during peak periods and Saturdays as per rota.

Salary

Competitive salary depending on experience plus profit-related bonus.
